Information You Provide
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party service that provides those results. Temple Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those search entries on its own servers. If you contact the operators, the message and contact information you choose to include are used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Routine hosting logs can record an IP address, browser information, pages requested, and timestamps. Those records are reviewed in aggregate for site operation, security, and general traffic measurement. Cookies or comparable technologies may be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
Limited technical and contact data is used to operate, secure, maintain, and improve Temple Residents Directory, and to reply to a message. We do not sell lists of site visitors or create individual visitor profiles from ordinary site use.
External Services and Links
Bell County, City of Temple, Texas agency, library, archive, and third-party search links lead to services with their own privacy notices and practices. Their rules govern data submitted after you leave this site. That includes sponsored search results supplied by a third-party provider.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers may process the technical data needed to run the service. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose information when required by valid legal process and otherwise only as needed to operate the site.
Data Security
The site uses an encrypted connection. Logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. There are no Temple Residents Directory user accounts, so the site does not maintain visitor passwords or a personal account profile.
Visitors Under 18
Temple Residents Directory is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If you believe a minor sent information to the operators, contact us so it can be removed.
Texas Privacy Rights
The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 541, provides certain consumer-data rights in circumstances covered by that law. Depending on its application, those rights can include access, correction, deletion, opt-out, and appeal rights. Temple Residents Directory keeps little visitor data, so a request normally concerns a contact message or operational log. Submit a request through the Contact page. This policy does not control a government record held by Temple, Bell County, or Texas; requests about those records belong with the custodian.
Policy Changes
Any revision to this policy will appear here. Continued use of Temple Residents Directory after a posted change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
